I offered and never received a response... Maybe your offer was insulting to him because he disliked the fighters you offered, even though there is no way you'd know what fighters he liked or disliked. I didn't offer any fighters lol

I am STRONGLY in favour of 2 per weightclass. I don't know if it's a hard and fast rule right now - it might be - but it makes every single thing on this site easier, better, and cleaner. Especially right now when about 92% of the league is severely under-developed. Adding more people will just create more and more shitty fighters, while people keep working on their primary and secondary fighters. But it's open for discussion. Especially in light of the draft upcoming. I've been procrastinating on this call because it stresses me out.

right, but if people make trades do they need to then make subsequent trades to get back to the 2-2-2-2-2?

right, but if people make trades do they need to then make subsequent trades to get back to the 2-2-2-2-2? I don't know. Like, if you have 1 LW, and they get hurt, you are pretty fucked for the GP, so....I would still encourage it? But you can see where having to do subsequent trades would make things a giant mess? It's complicated. Like, there are a lot of very unobvious things that make the 2-2-2-2-2-2 work well. If a team has 3 fighters in a weightclass, that literally triples the number of fights that cannot be made in that weightclass, since I try not to have teammates fight each other. All that being said, I am still undecided on how much I believe in maintaining the integrity of GP, protecting teams from themselves, and working around team vs. self matches. The reality, especially now with smaller fighter numbers, is that if you have 3 fighters in a weight class, they WILL fight each other. Especially if they are both good. The implications are pretty obvious - like the fight almost turns meaningless on a team level, since you will go 1-1 for that fight and not advance or fall in standings. Whereas if your best WW was fighting someone elses, you could move up two-fold, in that they lose, and you win, so it's like a +1 for you and a -1 for them, significantly improving your team standing, thus not at all meaningless. Short version - I still don't know.

that's fair, just want to sort of establish that a bit before too many trades happen and teams get messy. better to do it that way now with that in mind.
