Poirier:I still believe he should work his way up the rankings, but it's a different situation now. I'm coming off a loss, and there weren't very many fights available, and I need a paycheck. Seems like the right time to shut him up and get back in the win column. If everything were to go to plan and you were to come out on top, who would you like to fight next? Honestly, I'm not looking past Rory, but hopefully someone in the top five. I have a couple guys in mind, but they got fights coming up, so we'll see how those go and figure it out from there. |

I've just been training... What the fuck are you doing? Calling a press conference trying to one-up me, then coming out looking like a shitty '90s rap video, like you even have a prayer. Yet look who's one step ahead of you, Again... having a live feed to your press conference and timing it perfectly to my break between training. I WAS going to thank you right back for the fight until I saw you're just a fucking poser. Now I can't wait to get in the cage and beat the shit out of you. Respect is earned; not given. We used to be friends man... But after that display, you have no respect for me at all. So get to the back of the line, cuz just like our sparring sessions, I'll own you IN the cage too. And you still won't like it that I'm better than you. |
