I watched the entire Princess Switch trilogy. I was superbly not disappointed by these garbage movies.

Last Christmas I got my little guy Tucker and this year he's a psycho who has already destroyed some of the Christmas ornaments, still love him though!

I love christmas but i become a bit more grinch like every year... i think its cause im old. Anyone else like me? I'm never turning Grinch, but the excitement does slip every-so-slightly each year for me personally. But we have a kid, so the excitement here has shifted to being excited for her, and now that she shops for people on her own, it's even excited to see people open things she got for them. She did really well this year in her shopping, so it was really cool. |

merry belated christmas everyone.
since bein an adult i havent done much with christmas. had a few vodka nights on christmas eve but a lot more quiet ones in recent years. its great getting things like new boots and tim hortons gift cards and stuff but its not the same as when we were kids gettin toys from santa so i agree with gap that its not exciting but thats ok. i think its more important that for one time a year people can all just not be assholes to each other and thats enough for me now.

I watch the same christmas movies every year. (Christmas vacation, miracle on 34th street (original b/w version), home alone (1 and/or 2)... i eat sweets and treats (this year eas first year i had to lay off sweets due to diabeticness).. i wasnt feeling christmasey this year but i had a good christmas

This is a good point. This year, I asked for like craft brew beer instead of basically anything. I got my playstation card for a new annual. And some beer, as requested. But all I saw was people getting alcohol and gift cards, and that's kind of it. Most of the people in my Christmas circle are adults now, my child being the only one, but man, I remember being a kid and everyone getting really cool shit, and now it's just a fucking digital card. I don't know. Maybe it's just "different" now and the convenience factor makes a gift card easy and desirable, but I miss the "thinking about what this person wants and surprising them with it." Or maybe you can't surprise anyone anymore because everything is so instantaneous and acquirable. |
