Yep, turned 21 on January 8. I forget that Americans get engaged and married earlier than Canadians. Probably because y'all can afford to do so while Canadians (more specifically people in Ontario and BC) are saving for a house until they're 30+ |

Probably because y'all can afford to do so while Canadians (more specifically people in Ontario and BC) are saving for a house until they're 30+ I'm definitely an outlier getting engaged so young here. We moved in together in July, and have been very smart with our money so far. Hoping to spend another year at our apartment, let the market go back down for houses, and then get a small starter house. |
