Since SOMEONE locked the other thread, I wasn’t able to share my opinion.
One suggestion I’d like other’s opinions on is a cap on how many points people can spend on fighters between fights. Then nobody can turn into a superstar overnight which is unrealistic anyway. Then people improve at a similar rate by not allowing certain fighters to get ridiculous amounts of points at one time.

I've got no issues with that, though you can screw up your upgrades just as easily with a small amount of points as a large amount. lol
We've also gotta figure out a way encourage the folks that are sitting on a pile of points to use them too though.

I like the point spending cap on fighters. It would suck for me cuz I like to do like 15 at a time sometimes, but it'd be that way for everyone. I'm thinking like 5-8 points between fights would be cool. Not sure how anyone feels about that part in particular.

I just don’t enjoy when I see someone dump like 30 points into a person. Maybe with a cap per fighter people would spread those points to more people instead of just their favorite fighter.

I can agree with this - that way people don't blow up suddenly.

I totally get that... I don't do it a lot myself, but it does happen. I still think it's more of a problem that there are a handful teams sitting on 40+ points, and they could pull the trigger on them at anytime. So, I do see how having a per upgrade cap could go hand in hand with that, or, perhaps, place said cap on the teams that are actually hoarding points. For me, I try to usually get them used at around the 20 mark, if not earlier.

Honestly if everyone is spending their points regularly there shouldnt be an issue... im rarely spending more than 8 points anyways.. cause i spend as often as i can.

Perfect, so it really wouldn't affect people who upgrade regularly as much. It would only be the people who sit on 40-60 points who then drop the bank on one fighter. If they can only drop eight points at a time, they're more likely to spread it around.

Then maybe POTN bonuses can exceed the cap too. That makes them a little more fun.

i dont even know if i do this so i dont know if this affects me but if it affacts what i do i have a big problem with it. i save points so i have an idea of what i want to do with a guy and my upgrades are covering a whole side of what i want to do. i cant just do 2 or 4 at a time even though i think thats how it should be done but i do better when im like i want to work on this guys offence so i want to max these skills in this order, but i cant do that with 2 poionts once a week over a month i want to sit on those points long enough to get a handle on ok this 10-20 points should be able to clean up this guy and make him a good ground fighter so i do takedown and strength and gnp and stuff all in one swoop. i dont want to be chipping away i want to get it done. maybe its like i dont want to buy shit on installment plans i want to buy it outright and thats how i look at upgradin. i dont think i should lose points or not be able to upgrade the way i want to. if im not upgradin my guy then he sucks and you guys benefit. i wish everyone upgraded and cared like everyone in this thread but if im not ugprading then you guys who are upgrading are making your guys better and have more chance at belts and shit. guess i dont understand the advantage to forcing people to spend their points. i do see the advantage to you guys who upgrade and think about things only 1 way over guys like me who think about things a different way and im not sure that that is fair. i agree we dont need anyone probably sitting on 60-100 points which i think someone actually is right now but what if instead of making more rules we just tagged them all the time like The Rocketmen used to when we had point limits on the last site?? that seemed to work didnt it?? and then we dont add more damned rules and limits if those guys just be spending their points more than once every 19 months i mean i think i do what i can and try and sometimes my bank gets high but you force me to only spend a few points on an upgrade and do it every week that aint gonna work for me

like the realism i get that we dont want people going from cm punk to gsp between 2 fights slow is good but at the same time if a guy in real life trains wrestling a whole camp that will show the way i upgrade where his takedowns and strength and gnp will all improve not just 2 points of upgrade worth is what i mean so it plays into the realism thing people talkin about too
