It's simple, really. If teams are absent for a period of time and their points accumulate over a threshold, I will take it upon myself to review their rosters, and their worst fighters, in order, 1 point at a time, will be auto-upgraded into primary stats.
Example:
Team A has 40 points, regardless of attendance on the site, hasn't spent any. Next week, they earn a salary of 2 points, they are now above the 40 point threshold.
Their worst two fighters are:
Worse Fighter MW (0-5)
Slightyworse Fighter WW (0-4)
Those two fighters would each automatically be applied 1 point to Toughness or Conditioning, and the team would remain at 40 points while their fighters continued to not be all the way neglected.
Simple. Easy. Stops fighters from being in purgatory, and helps fighters continue to maintain some level of worth while continuing the development of the lower tiered fighters on the site to remain a challenge for those who are more active.

If a team is at like 60 points, and we have a cap of 30-40, that's immediately 30 points getting applied to their fighters across the board.

If you didnt get my sarcasm then maybe you don't realize i dislike this idea. Let people sit on 40 points and not do well. They dont gain points and therefore are being punished for not being active. If they spend their points then they can do well. Its a choice they are making by not being active.

Well, being a little wordy gets your point across better, even if it gets construed as "ranting". lol I know all about that. 😜😂😂 I'm appreciative of the thought put into it, but I'd have to say no, I don't like the idea. Again, just from the standpoint that it's basically rewarding these teams that are sitting idle, and not encouraging them to upgrade, if you're just doing it for them. 🤷 It's not really a deterrent to stop doing what they're already doing. |

I like this idea. Helps prevent absolutely dreadful fighters and keeps points from sitting there doing nothing.

If the limit is 40 that means they are still 20 weeks behind an active team's progress. Thats like 5 months of salaries or an entire season. It isnt loading fifteen points into their top fighters its keeping their bottom end relatively relevant

I mean if a team hasnt done anything themselves for an entire season then they should probably be stripped of the team. |
