The Sandman series finally dropped on Netflix last night. I'm a little over half-way through. This series is based on the books that were the basis for my name and team here. Great series.
Anyone plan on watching the Netflix show now that it's out?

Is it possible to enjoy without reading the graphic novels beforehand?

That and i saw a 2 minute segment of it.... it looks stupid Theres a strange irony in this statement in that its very much a story of ideas and philosophies and thoughts. One may find it boring or confusing, or not for them, but the writing and concepts are sometimes deep, consistently well thought-out and anything but “stupid”. I also feel like more than most things i have seen or read, it doesnt lend itself to “segmentization” as well as other things. Few pieces in it stand strongly without the context of the very rich world it exists in.

Yep, looking forward to it. Know nothing of the graphic novels except that it exists, and am looking forward to diving into it. I feel like a lot of interesting things came out the last few years and it all piled up and it's harder to decide what to check out first. But I know that other Gaiman related works have been put out and want to see those too.
