Thanks to all my opponents for the fun fights.
I'd like to voice my opinion on the GP MVP, however.
This is the second time we have won the Grand Prix, and the second time one of my fighters has been snubbed for this prize. Not sure what the league has against us, but in our opinion Max Holloway was the only real answer.
He had a gimme fight against Matt Brown, but other than that he had two fights against Chan Sung Jung and Frankie Edgar who are both #5 and #6.
Couture beat Hunt, Shamrock, and Miocic. All who are #7 or less. What's with the TXR hate?

It's still dumb that every time my team wins a GP a different teams fighter is named MVP. It's a damn insult. And when it happens, there should be no comparable fighter on the winning team.

Probably cause Couture came in ranked #17 but beat guys ranked 7, 9 and 10. Holloway beat guys he was supposed to beat. this. Hes beat all these opponents before/recently and is a perennial title contender. And Holloways value is diminished by the fact that the MVP is most valuable to their team. Since you steam rolled your way through this entire GP, winning most series 4 –1, Holloways impact is more limited. Had Hollaway lost all of his fights you still would’ve made it to the finals. Had couture lost ANY of his fights, he would not have.

Next season, Team GAP I'll hit you up around GP time and send you a list of who I think could be a cool lineup and then we'll get that in so we can compete against you. It's fun!

Had couture lost ANY of his fights, he would not have. Couture was ranked 8 before losing to a power upgraded Ryan Bader via Split Decision, dropping him to like #18 because of the old rankings style, then he slaughtered everyone down there until losing to a power upgraded Cain, and now he's nearly right back where he started. Max Holloway just went 2-0 against two top LWs that can be champs on their best night. Couture was awesome this card, but the losing team should only have an MVP if the winning team has everyone at 2-1.

I was really upset with how my team was performing... i needed a break to rest my mind. (Also dealing with real world stuff) but... i will be ready for next season... hopefully
