Right now at this point in the off-season, with the end program change that would be required for the fighters, it is not practical to change 6 to 8 fighters for guinea pig flights so they can have official fights, and then change them back later if people are not happy with the result of the guinea pig fights. I also feel like for a proper scope of guinea pig and, we would need a full season. Not just a few hand picked fights

I'm still not a fan of it. We shouldn't be punished for upgrading our females while everybody else focuses on their men. There's 2 female divisions and 4 male ones, those deciding to focus on the two females one shouldn't be punished for that. You wouldn't be punished if you get to keep all four women if you choose. Again, we want to combines the divisions because the competition is weak because people aren't upgrading their female fighters so those who have focused on them are being punished because others want to focus on their male fighters.

But how is it a punishment? Why don't we combine welterweight and middleweight?

But how is it a punishment? Why don't we combine welterweight and middleweight? The site as a whole upgrades their welterweight and middleweights. From my perspective, the reason I support this is because our women are the most neglected group of people across the entire site, making in the hardest to book fights for. That’s the only perspective I’m coming at this from.

Maybe it should also be added or clarified that this poll wasn’t supposed to be just about flyweights. It’s about women in general. Because we have teams who have two bantam weight and upgrade them, other teams that have two flyweights an update them, one of each etc. I think we have only one team across the entire site that works on all four of their women.

i dont want to be forced to give up 2 of my women and dont think we should be forced to. if there really is no difference once the weights are the same i dont care a super amount if they are 2 weight classes. i guess im like outback cyclone that i might grumble under my breath but its not a deal breaker. im one of the people workin on all my women. but having 2 belts to chase instead of 1 gives us more options. with only 1 belt you dont have the choice of which women weight class you want to work on its just your only women weight class and its all one shot.

I also agree with this, if one girl is dominating (ie JJ) more focus goes to BW because people will see it as more open. If one girl is dominating the one belt people may just stop upgrading their female fighters as a whole

Only reason I haven’t upgraded my featherweights is a lack of points - I’ve been point bombing a few of my favorites and haven’t gotten there yet. That was my goal for next season

...Now if only the other 11 people on the site would also consider upgrading all 4 of their women I could actually book some god damned female fights this upcoming season!

That shit inspires me to want to take down the champ.

To me i would be fine with this, but I also feel people who have put points into the category or if they are giving up fighters that have had a bunch of points into them should be compensated aswell
