This is the nature of having to make matchups - meaning 2 people have to line up, both in terms of when someone is due for a fight, as well as what team they are on, or when they are ready (or needed) for a #1 Contender or title fight, and all that. Often things like when a fighter fights relates directly or indirectly to the domino of rankings, so I might need guys to fight, for example, 4 cards away from a specific card so I can have them ready for a different fight on the upcoming card in 4 events sort of thing. Booking, particularly over the course of an entire season, is shockingly intricate and complicated. |
