I just started homeschooling my 12 year old last week. We're doing that the rest of the year, then, depending on the state of the world, the plan is she will go back to public school for Grade 8.

I rwad to kil a kockingbird like first time wver i trid aonhard to not rad stuff in school and now i regrt it. Nextbis maybe the pearl and then maybe brav new workd or frankntstein but i think that one was just all lettea and stuff and it was aeird nd i dont jnow if i have attention span to go back to that one

I’m reading a series by Auryn Hadley right now- part sci fi/fantasy, political thriller, and romance (or at least fated relationships). It’s at least 12 books long and I’m on book 7- as it’s kept me up a few nights.
I will read pretty much any fiction- but have been trending towards easy fluff for the past 2 years- probably because wrk has been very intense and I need the break.
Even when intending to read crap sometimes you stumble across something truly beautiful and well done. I strongly recommend Aqeline Carey to anyone who thinks romance books or fantasy are anything like chick flicks and lord of the rings.
