Takeaways:
1) Despite 4 very good fights, I am very, very over seeing Figueredo vs. Moreno.
2) Brazilian fans don't know what eye pokes are?
3) Does anyone think Jamahal Hill will defend his new belt more than 0 times?
4) I was surprised at how out of her league Murphy was vs. Andrade
Unrelated, I learned today that Marc Ratner is in the UFC Hall of Fame, and was surprised to learn that.

i could watch figuerro and moreno fight any day they're both at the absolute top of their division and no one else is even close so its better to see the best then shitty title fights.
hill will do okay but wont have the legacy of guys like jones or cormier
murphys overrated and only really performs against wash ups.

Sharing without comment or opinion: I like what she said, but am confused. I was thinking the Glover fight should have been stopped three different times, and I thought towel should have gone in. Same with Ortega, although the Doc stopped that one. |

Sharing without comment or opinion: I like what she said, but am confused. I was thinking the Glover fight should have been stopped three different times, and I thought towel should have gone in. Same with Ortega, although the Doc stopped that one. I'm not sure. Though for Glover, there was less commentary about stopping the fight. Ortega, not so much. But yeah...Some comments are interesting too, as one fan said things like, "We're not concerned about black eyes, we're concerned about CTE" and it's like...yeah.  |

And also Who?! I'm definitely not over UFC/MMA. I am over Dana White and the face/optics of everything UFC stands for, but I very much enjoyed sitting down and watching the whole card, from the prelims on up. This card very much reminded me why I love this sport so much to begin with. I think I needed that sort of refresher, as I'm pretty sure the event before this was the first event I didn't see a single fight of in about 15 years. |
