Hey everyone! Glad to have so many people here for the new Era of ManMMA!
First suggestion is a simple one, and I suppose it's more of a question. Who here opposes predictions for points? I know some hate predicting on their phones. But some also really enjoy predicting and competing for a point. Anyone have any suggestions that might change predicting into something easier?
Let's hear thoughts! How can we make predictions easy and accessible for everyone!?

I think predicting an entire card is annoying and long and boring. But I like predicting the top fights on a card. So depending on how the fights are structured on Era 2, and how many are "tournament start" fights and things like that, I think predicting the "main card" could be fun, but I also think only awarding a point if someone gets it right on the money on a perfect prediction would be great as well. It would also shrink the time needed to count predictions, because there might only be like 7 fights to predict, and if someone got one wrong, the predictor counter person could just go "wrong" and move to the next person. predictings not hard and i can choose to do it or not i dont see why it needs changed. are there people who say it needs changed?? if you have problems predicting on your phone if thats the problem wont you have problems predicting the main card only on your phone too im confused now i guess about what we are fixing??

Right now, I have no idea how big cards will be, so it's hard for me to comment on main card only predictions.
If we are doing the same setup as before, with 2 title fights, and like, 6 tournament fights per card, it makes sense. But for now, I don't think I'm leaning towards that kind of set-up.
Time, as they say, will time.

i personally hate trying to do predictions on my phone... but i wont stop others from doing predictions. i just miss out

That’s how I do it Team GAP and The Sandman. It’s not tedium free but it’s not hard- I could never be bothered to toggle between screens on my phone, so I just hit quote and then backspace the people I think will loose. |
