In what is now tradition of our State of the Union addresses, we'll begin with the sincere heart-felt apologies for yet another unprecedented delay in ManMMA content.
Life keeps throwing more and more baggage into my world*, and it all requires more and more of my brain power mental RAM. Despite that, there's literally not a day that goes by that I don't think about this site. It's current state. It's past. And it's future.
I'll cut to the chase. I'm have no idea how many of you are still here. I have no idea how many of you have any amount of engagement energy left in you. But. If you are still here, I am still here.
Activity is the fuel that keeps a simmer/site runner going. When the site is quiet, it's much easier to think to yourself, "Hey, no one cares if you just post the card tomorrow instead.". And I ended up in that rut. So though it's silly, I want to take a second to thank The Chosen Ones for his simple "Hi" in the Shoutbox, reminding me you bastards are still out there (kinda
). Unfortunately it took me a long-ass time to see it, since despite checking the site several times a day, I never think to check the shoutbox - only things like "Most Recent Posts, and "Most Recent Activity". So please post in threads, and post often. And another huge thank you to those of you who have been doing that (Ducks, Rocketmen, GAP, Rattlesnakes, Knockouts, etc).
And as per usual, a thank you to those of you who continue to bear with me, and check this site when you can.
*If you guys ever want to hear about all the bullshit, feel free to let me know - I guess there's a part of me that feels it's unprofessional to spout a bunch of depressing personal-life drama in an apology thread, since it just feels like excuses and pity parties - plus I don't really want to bring the mood down unnecessarily or anything. I do simultaneously recognize, though, that I have known many of you for 13+ years because of these sim sites, so I don't really have secrets or anything...
