Jon Jones wins the Heavyweight title!

*****Jon Jones and Fedor Emelianenko had today the best fight of this organization! (Reminder these “*****” comments are the programs numeric-based determinations, not a subjective ranking…still cool though)


This totally lived up to its position as our first ever Zenith main event. Damn.

So round 1 was dead even. Not in a doing-nothing way, but in a doing WORK way. Both did and received damage. But came to their corners dead even in both catagories.

Round 2 was very much Jones, as he brought it to Fedor, and started to take over the fight. Heading into 3, it looked like if Jones had a strong round, he would be able to finish the legend. But…

Round 3 was all Fedor, and a full-blown comeback round, as he did beefy work himself and evened up the damage numbers by the end of the round.

Both men recovered well, so round 4 was fully fresh dudes. But Jones came out FLYING and did HUGE damage for the entire 4th round, damned-near finishing Fedor before he was saved by the buzzer.

But by then, it was just a matter of time before Jones was able to secure the finish in the 5th, as Fedor was on wobbly legs. Jones capitaliozed like the champ he now is, and secured the victory.

A very good back-and-forth fight to close out our Zenith. I dig it. These 2 legends lived up to the GoaT status their names carry.

Congrats to Jones for being our final first-ever champion. Long may he reign, etc.
