when i found out james woods was not an incredibly likeable smoke and flame villain like he played in the animated film Hercules, or the piece-a-candy searching idiot from Family Guy, my life was changed forever.

when i found out james woods was not an incredibly likeable smoke and flame villain like he played in the animated film Hercules, or the piece-a-candy searching idiot from Family Guy, my life was changed forever. James Woods is one of my favourite villain actors. He's really good in those flicks like Ghosts of Mississippi and The Onion Fields. For this, and his roles in things like Videodrome also, though disappointed, I still very much separate the person and the performer. I refuse to let the person he is ruin the craft he demonstrates, nor the art he participates in. |

I would agree with that, except I haven't had that experience myself. 🤷 Whether it's been Robin Williams, Ed Roland, Bret Hart, Ben Kingsley, all 3 of the Kerns brothers, Adam Copeland, Jay Reso, Lee Aaron or, yes, even Tommy {and save your "mark speech" for later please. I'm fully aware I named my cat after him. 😂 So is he. lol} Dreamer. The heroes I've met have been great people, and about 80% became actual friends. So no Whiteman... It's not that you shouldn't meet your heroes... It's that maybe folks should pick better heroes. 🤔🤷 |

Not everyone gets to meet their heros and find out they are great. Thus the "sometimes" part of what i said. |
