Kruzer: Thank you all for being here this morning. We won't be taking any questions today. We'll just be making this brief statement as his "Rory-ness" needs to get back to his training regiment and this was a bit spur of the moment. We'll getcha next time Helwani... Two nights ago I received a text from the big cheese of ManMMA himself, claiming he was in a pickle.
Rory MacDonald: And, at turns out, I was right all along... The Texas Garter Snakes, and their fighters, are pretty fickle, eh Kruze?
Kruzer: Quite right, my friend... Cuz unlike you, that will fight anyone, it would seem that poor Khabib & Dustin don't want to fight each other.
Rory MacDonald: So instead of booking me as the #20 ranked fighter by virtue of my 2-0 record to face Diego in Benson's place, ManMMA felt "Why Bother?"
Kruzer: Until two days ago when the league offices messaged me, "suddenly" asking if Rory would fight Dustin (childlike voice) cuz he Khabib are "friends.
Rory MacDonald: And what did I say when you told me, Kruze? Same thing I've been saying since I came back to ManMMA 2.0... It's about your business, not your friends.
Kruzer: Exactly, Rory... So it didn't take much time to think about it. As such, we are here today to officially announce that, at ManMMA 28, the Undefeated and, sadly, Unranked, Canadian Psycho, Rory MacDonald will be facing "Captain Prissy Pants" himself, and, allegedly #3 ranked, Dustin Poirer.
Rory MacDonald: Oh, and I'll be happy to take your #3 spot, Dusty... Believe that. Cuz then there will no stopping me now from getting my hands on BJ & Bear to claim what is rightfully MINE! The ManMMA Welterweight Championship!
Kruzer: And that's the bottomline...
