Frankie Edgar wins the Lightweight title!
OH NO! No one told the commission here on St. Catharines that our title fights were 10 rounds! Though Edgar was dominating the hell out of this one, DJ's defence was impeccable, and he had a very healthy health bar throughout this entire fight. It's technically possible that he was waiting for Edgar to wear down before turning on the juices. As such, I think we will count these results, rather than no-contesting it, but we will have an immediate rematch with the appropriate 10 round time limit. This fight could very well have deserved it, and I feel kinda ripped off that we didn't get that. DAMNIT!
