Kierkan Rufo: "Take this. Get it to Dean Thobicus. He is upstairs. Do not let anyone else interrupt your path. He will show you the way of Deneir and help us understand how much of this place has been infected."

Blurgle immediately blocks the path. Then acts like a basketball player trying to block a shot

The trio march up the stairs, through the Chanticleer's chanting, where more and more priests have gathered to wash away their fears.
There were whispers of the heroes as they passed, as priests doubted their efforts, wondered if they were truly there to save them or if more danger lurked in the depths of our heroes true intentions.
Before they could arrive at Dean Thobicus' door, he emerged from his office wearing a sour expression. He looked upon our heroes and sighed, "so it is true then, the depths have been corrupted. Come, there is much to be discussed."
He welcomes them into his office. To the side, there is a chest next to a large book shelf with peculiar colored spines. A large tapestry with an eye floating above the flame of a candle hung across a brick wall, showcasing the emblem of their God Deneir, in all of its glory.
Dean Thobicus sat at his table and welcomed the others to take seats across from him. He opened an old book, only recently brushed away of its centuries of dust, some of which still scattered across the edge of his desk.
Kierkan Rufo entered the room last, delayed, but the Dean's hand went up. Kierkan halted in his tracks, eyed the Dean, looked at our heroes, and took a step forward meaning to say something, but the words were caught in his throat and he backtracked out of the room and closed the door.
"Bene Tellemara," the Dean shook his head in disbelief. "This curse has brought about a terrible age. I fear the worst, though my imagination fails to deliver the most fatal horror. Who carries the Deneirian pendant?"
