A bit of what Austin said, but also the ratings scale was built around these guys at the weightclass I have them in on that page. So we're going to keep people in those weightclasses, at least for the foreseeable future. Yeah, but how hell is a featherweight considered a welterweight... 😂😂 That's worse than light heavyweights considered to be middleweights. That's hilarious. |

Barboza was a LW for most of his career and prime. Exactly. What we're saying here is a real life LW is in the LW+WW bracket on this site. (Called WW, since we cannot create our own names in the program). They fight at about 167-170, which is pretty typical of the walkaround weight of most real life LWs. |

We created the fighters for this site with their ManMMA Era 2 weightclasses and ratings in mind. This was built on what was needed, what weightclass made sense, and where guys had success. No single factor. The ratings scale was built around those weightclasses and ratings. We have/had no additional rule. This is why on this site, unlike the first site, fighters are locked in to their weightclasses. And why Jon Jones is a HW, despite never having had a fight at HW. |

Barboza was made as a LW (here called WW, as shown by that table), since that was his prime. He was 20-8 as a LW, and is only 2-2 as a featherweight. If I were to make him a featherweight, his rating would be way lower, as his record at featherweight is trash. |
