If we divide litres per year by the population, we find: USA: 72.7 litres per person per year Germany: 99.0 litres per person per year Germans drink 26.57% more beer per person than Americans. Even Australians drink more per person per year than Americans (75.1 litres per person per year) |

The US part of this is true lol. I think it has a lot to do with alcohol is so demonized in schools and stuff while kids are growing up, and they think they're being bad when they get drunk. Alcohol is a normal part of other countries where the age limit is a lot younger, and you see a lot less alcohol problems in those places. I think other people have more respect for alcohol than what Americans do. |

Um... have you met a German lol. They DEFINITELY drink to get drunk. It was literally cheaper to buy a beer in some places over there than a bottle of water. Also, Aussie DEFINITELY can't stay sober. That's for sure. The number of pubs in my Australian town was absurd lol |
